Program details

Avowant Driver Texts sends service-related messages to drivers whose companies use Avowant: compliance reminders (for example, a license or medical card coming due), renewal notices, inspection follow-ups, secure links to forms your company asks you to complete, and two-way replies with your company's safety staff. No marketing or promotional messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

How you opt in

Opting in is entirely optional. Receiving text messages is never a condition of employment, of using Avowant, or of any purchase — you can decline and still complete everything your company asks of you by email. If you do want driver texts, you can opt in any of these ways:

  • On the sign-up page — visit /sms-signup, enter your mobile number, and check the consent box (unchecked by default; a "No thanks" option is provided). Your consent is recorded with the time, the exact wording you agreed to, and your IP address.
  • During onboarding — when your company sends you the Avowant driver onboarding form, an optional communication-preferences step offers the same consent checkbox (unchecked by default). Skipping it does not affect your application or your job. Consent is recorded the same way.
  • By text — text START, YES, or UNSTOP to the program number.

When you opt in, you receive this confirmation message: "Avowant: You're signed up for Avowant Driver Texts — compliance reminders and messages from your company's safety staff. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. For help, reply HELP. To opt out, reply STOP."

Example messages

  • "Avowant: Your medical card expires in 30 days. Your safety manager will schedule your exam — reply here with questions. Reply STOP to opt out."
  • "Avowant: Acme Trucking sent you a form to complete: https://avowant.com/apply/… Reply STOP to opt out."

How to opt out

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will receive one confirmation message and no further messages after that. Reply START to resume.

How to get help
